We're not for everyone.

We can work across very different industries, but not with every client: when we feel we can't bring the value you deserve, we say so, instead of taking the job and leaving you unsatisfied. Choosing, before we even build.

Why «Verso»

One word, one direction.

In Italian, «verso» is first of all a direction: the way something actually works, the right way to take it.

It's also a movement toward a destination, and «un verso», a line of text, thought out and measured. Hence the name: we give things the right direction, and build it line by line.

01Austin, TX

The right question

Verso was born from a trip its founder, Cosmin, took to Austin, Texas, one of America's tech capitals. He had gone to consider relocating, with no plan to start anything of his own. But away from the usual noise he stopped asking what was convenient, and started asking a more uncomfortable question: what is truly worth sustaining over time.

What struck him wasn't the size of those companies, but how naturally they chose to be one precise thing, not a thousand. There, clarity wasn't marketing: it was how they worked.

02The decision

A mirror, not a model

That trip was a mirror, not a model to copy. It made one thing obvious, simple and hard to accept: staying on a road just because it works is an elegant form of self-deception. The discomfort didn't come from the effort, but from being spread thin.

From there, a radical choice: don't do everything, don't speak to everyone, don't promise more than you can keep. Knowing how to say no to the wrong things is exactly what makes you reliable on the right ones.

03The birth

Growing well, not fast

That's how Verso was born. Not an opportunity seized on the fly, but the consequence of an alignment: grow well instead of fast, be deeply useful to a few people instead of present for everyone.

04Cherasco, CN

Rigor, feet on the ground

That rigor seen overseas now lives in Piedmont, in Cherasco. Not an address of convenience, but a choice: serious engineering and the concreteness of people with their feet on the ground, in the same company.

05Tomorrow

Depth, not scale

We don't chase scale, we chase depth. We'll keep building few things, made to last longer than us: custom software for those with real processes to put in order, and products of our own like Verso Flow, where engineering becomes proof. We don't promise growth. We promise to stay at the highest level we know how to reach, and to give direction to those with something to build.

Values

Three positions, not three slogans.

Concrete, not abstract

Solutions that hold up over time, not promises.

Tailored, not adapted

The software is cut to fit the process, not the other way around.

Italian, not just localized

Real closeness, not distance in translation.

«If you've read this far nodding along, maybe you weren't looking for a vendor. You were looking for someone who thinks about things the way you do.»

Who's behind it

You talk to the people who design and write the code.

When you talk to us, you talk to the person who gets inside the process, designs it and builds it, not a middleman who translates. It's a choice, not a limit: fewer steps, fewer misunderstandings, more direct responsibility for what we deliver.

See what we build

Cosmin Irimescu

Founder · Design & development

From listening to the process to writing the software, all the way to testing before delivery. The same care we put into Verso Flow, on every project.

The manifesto

We believe everything has a right direction, a way it actually works, and that our job is to find it before building it.

That's why we don't start from the code, but from the logic of things. We get inside problems, take them apart, understand how they fit together. Only then do we write software. Think clearly, build simply: it's harder than it looks, and it's the only thing we care to do.

We don't settle. Happy with the work, never with the level: there's always one notch higher, and that's where we want to be. We build few things, and we build them to last longer than us. We don't sell presence, we don't promise growth: we give direction to those with something to build, and then we actually build it.

Software as a form of respect, for the people who use it and for the problem it solves.

Everything has its right direction.
